Still Life Group – Rhos on Sea

Ink washes by Mark

Our Rhos on Sea Still Life group is held in the church hall at the United Reform Church, Colwyn Avenue, Rhos on Sea, LL28 4RA on Thursdays from 2.15pm – 4.15pm.

Supported by the Gwynt Y Mor and Rhyl Flats funds, and in the footsteps of our Conwy group, the format remains the same.

This is an informal, friendly and relaxed art workshop for anybody (16+) who has been bereaved, at any time. You don’t need to book, or have any experience to take part, and the atmosphere is very laid back!

This isn’t art therapy, and we aren’t counsellors, but it is a chance to leave difficult feelings at the door for the couple of hours and focus on something completely different.

A Cruse counsellor will usually be available to chat to in a separate room, at any time during the workshop.

photo-2Over the past four months we have seen the Conwy group grow in all sorts of directions with new friendships forged between people of all ages. We have created all sorts of work – cyanotypes, watercolours, paper cutting, pottery, printing, bookmaking, drawing .. and are always up for suggestions.
This – and more- is what you can expect at the Rhos on Sea group.
There is no charge, no need to book and no experience necessary – and the door is always open..
