Still Life -our first creations!

We are delighted to share with you the work we have made in the first Still Life sessions.

In week one we made little paper boats decorated with Japanese writing brush strokes, paints and pencil. Building on that, in the second week we made tiny boats from air-drying clay decoretd using all sorts of implements. Who knew a broken stick, a discarded feather or an old key could create something so lovely? Well, we do now!

Here’s that work for all to see.

Following that, we made pots and cermaic Christmas tree decorations with Sue, discovered painting with watercolours and inks with Ruth, and printing handmade Christmas cards with Chloe.

If you are over 16 and have been bereaved – whether the loss was a family member, friend, colleague or signifcant person in your life- and would ike to join our friendly, informal group, we can be found  in St Mary’s Church Hall on Tuesdays from 2pm – 4pm.
